 Wayland house fire thought to be intentional

ImageA joint investigation by the Steuben County Fire Investigation team and the New York State Police into an Oct. 18 house fire in Wayland has determined that the fire was intentionally set.

The house, owned by Randall and Diane Bergvall, located on Ellinger Road, was extensively damaged in the fire.

Anyone with information is asked to call the New York State Police at (585) 728-5758 or (607) 776-2136.

The investigation is ongoing.
