 The DFD is Looking for You

The Dansville Volunteer Fire Department is actively seeking local firefighters and emergency medical technicians.

Be part of one of the most progressive volunteer emergency response organizations in the county. Training is provided and the benefits are awesome.

Basic Requirements

 

Getting started with the DFD is easy ...

  • At least 18 years of age
  • No training required for new members
  • Complete application to include full criminal background check
  • Completion of basic orientation training, including CPR, Infection Control and basic fire training after membership approved
  • Completion of Firefighter I or Scene Support Operations within 12 months of membership
  • Attendance at monthly meetings and occasional special events
